The event, which is recognized as one of the major events for the coatings industry, also comprised the 11th International Exhibition of Coatings Industry Suppliers and the 11th International Coatings Congress. Evonik participated in the congress with a panel “Colorants using Unique Technologies provide Lower Environmental Impact", given by Dr. Brij Mohal – Vice-President Global Tecnology at Evonik (USA).

The event took place from 23rd-25th of September 2009 at the Transamerica Expo Center in São Paulo, one of the major exhibition centers in the country with more than 160 participating companies. At our 81 sqm booth, where posters of our additives, coloring systems, crosslinkers, matting agents, resins and resin components were displayed, our customers got acquainted with our “Smart Formulating for Coatings” concept, and got to know Evonik’s solutions and innovations for the coatings market. One big poster placed on one of the booth´s main walls showed “Smart Formulating for Coating – concept and Evonik’s brands.
